leap year for 2012

it is a wonderful day today... you may know the date - 29/2 in four years more.... it is a leap year.... let's jump!

It's work!

I try this method to my 3 Arif last year... indeed... luckily the method had improved the pupils' skill in writing... actually the method - Learn A Word A Day (as I called it LAWAD) & Learn A Sentence A Day (LASAD) had motivate my pupils to write with minor errors... somehow for those who are weak, they still repeating the same mistakes.... I'm wandered if they can't remember the tips I'd already gave to the pupils.... mmmmm...

for this year, 2012, I'm still using LAWAD/LASAD methods... hope the 4 Arif students will cope it better.....

learning English is FUN....

a few snap of pictures.. i'm doing the outdoor activity... i couldn't remember when... but a few weeks before the final exam.... these students were carried out a game that's known as 'chinese whispers' - a group have to complete the task which they hv to convey a message in turn to each group members... the last person will jot down the message.... the objective of this activity was to encourage the students to communicate with each others and able to carry a task in a group....

what???... i don't get it...

Course...

attending a course frm 12th - 15th October in KL International Hotel... creating a module for the Org Asli n Penan pupils.... so can u guess what happened there?

1st - there's no WIFI.. so... no fesbooking maa... suck!

2nd - no refused but to obey ..... if not...

3rd - cracked our mind n soul to create sample lessons... but the officer.. just give the instruction n surfing the net wif their broadband... who must to blame of....

4th - be punctual... but me... hahaha i'm always late for 15 minutes it's ok maaa...

5th - the time had arrived ... going back to Melaka... yahoooooo....

English class...

my class's period, after recess fro 10.35 - 11.35 a.m... this is an average class... 2 Cerdik - the 3rd class... the students talk a lot.. quit tiring when teaching the class... even they made my blood pressure climbing high.... but this a challenge for us... how to tackle and attract them to enjoy and have fun in learning English....

the boy is coloring the animals' pictures.... asked them to identify the animals and copy the descriptions of the animals....

as i'm the 'stepmother' (cause I like to babble...hehehe).. some of them even afraid of me... but i'm realizing that they always offered their hands to me... as the bell rang.. u can imagined how the girls rushing to the table to carry my stuffs such as my record book, pencil case and the exercise books....

English Tuition 1 - personal pronouns

time to start now for those who like to learn English in the simple way... as for the starter.. I would like to introduce the personal pronouns which are

probably these pronouns may use as a subject in a sentence...

duh... quite a while i'm stay away frm my blog.... what to tell about eh... oh... just finishing the exam week n marking few bundle of exam's papers....

2mrw, i'm going to school for my duty's turn... what's a boring day....

anyway just to inform that, our state, Melaka the historical city, hd just organised the SUKMA 13... do come n watch all the events around the state... luckily i'm staying nearby whr the events take place.....

still thinking what and how to setup the art questions... time is running.... what a chaos...

times ticking very fast... just finishing my 1st set of exam paper... it's really uneasy to setup the questions... bear in mind not all the pupils had same abilities.... there're still 2 more to go.... it's look like as a benchmark for me... it is becoz i'm already reaching 1oyears as a teacher... am satisfied on what i'd achieved? i really don't know....

i'm enjoy teaching the students ictl...some of them are quite advanced....

Mid Term Exam

crack my head!... hv to set the question paper... quite difficult cos i hv to construct the questions based on the students' abilities especially for the weak classes...

mmmm...quite lazy...

Mastering Grammar

even though I'd graduated in TESL.. but i felt hard to teach my students simple grammar sucha as verb to be, singular and plural nouns and etc...

i wondered if they understand the topic in English or just to impress me and pretended to understand... duh...

improve your English..

this subject still wandering in my mind... what's the matter? how do u feel if your students can't even pronounce properly the simple words... hard to face... are there any ideas to overcome the problems...?

selama ni terfikir jgk apakah pendekatan terbaik agar anak2 melayu luar bandar minat untuk mempelajari English?

aku terasa gak la ni semua nak menegakkan BM sebagai bahasa ibunda... ok la terpaksa setuju tp dr sudut yg lain plak kena ingat bahawa English bahasa global... so pak menteri kena betulkan dulu sewaktu berucap - gah promo BM tp bil berckp selang-selikan dgn English...

aku yg tersilap @ mereka yg sukar berubah...
